Riot are a five piece rock covers band  made up of Alan Clark on lead vocals, John Foottit on lead guitar, Wayne Lawson on bass guitar, John Sykes on keyboards and Robin Ward on drums.

All the members have previously enjoyed success in other top bands so when Riot was formed the standard of musicianship and talent was never in  any doubt.

Alan has released three albums with his originals band, CHANGE OF HEART, on escape records, while Wayne, Robin and John had an album released with MAI ROUGE on Celtic records and Wayne and Robin went on to form BIG GUNS and released albums on Zero and  Suncity records. 

Riot play a variety of classic rock covers from such artists as Rainbow, Meatloaf, Van Halen, Journey, Whitesnake, Ac/Dc, Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi and many more.

Riot try not to play the songs that most bands play but still choose songs that everyone will know and can sing along to.

With the outstanding vocals of Alan Clark, the flare of John Foottit on lead guitar, the talent of John Sykes on keyboards and the solid rhythm section of Wayne and Robin, Riot can achieve a stadium sound and do justice to any classic rock anthem.

The band now have bookings at venues all around the North East and are building up an increasing following.
